About usOff the Wall has been trading since 2005 when we bought Best of Brass, a shop that sold brass fireplace accessories and the pictures to go over the mantlepiece from Michael Best. After a successful Christmas trade under the old name, we changed the our name as we are not called Best and we no longer sold Brass! We then spent 18 months brightening up the shop itself and the gifts on offer and then another 18 months getting used to an expanded sales area because we took on the first floor as a fantastic gallery. The next step in world domination is this - the website!
Our customers come to us again and again because they like our sense of humour, our locally sourced gifts, jewellery and prints and our dogs who are generally on duty Tuesday to Saturday. Dillon is in charge of customer relations and Nell is in charge of security. She is particularly vigilant when the man who collects our cardboard comes in!
