Both of these riverside creatures look equally at home in their pleasant waterside location but, they prefer to keep themselves to themselves.  Here the otter is taken somewhat by surprise when the kingfisher suddenly takes flight, the sunlight catching its brightly-coloured plumage causes a sudden flash, and the otter has to make a split-second decision as to whether its a 'friend or foe'.
